The new 050 motor is officially out on the rocks in the SCX30 platform—and honestly… the motor feels GREAT.
Smooth startup.
Great low-speed control.
Plenty of usable power.
Exactly what I wanted from this tiny crawler setup 🔥
The funny part?
The motor isn’t the issue 😅
Driving these micro rigs well is a whole different skillset, and this test made that VERY clear. The tiny scale makes line choice, throttle control, and balance way more sensitive than larger crawlers.
So while the new 050 motor is absolutely doing its job… the driver may need some additional tuning 😂
In this short, I test the new 050 motor on real rocks with the SCX30 platform and see how this tiny crawler setup performs in real-world crawling conditions.
