The main action in this short film is to see the preserved and restored Mk1 multiple unit Class 423 4-VEP 3417 train named Gordon Pettitt passing through Norwood Junction railway station on its way 'home' at Strawberry Hill depot after a very successful long weekend at the Bluebell Railway, where it carried many delighted passengers and was photographed by many happy onlookers.
The train was hauled by diesel locomotive Class 37 667 / D6851 named Flopsie.
Barely a few seconds before this train arrived on the scene I filmed a Southern Class 377 which was leaving the station plus a Thameslink Class 700 passing through without stopping.
As all three trains were filmed in the same film clip I included them all in this 70 second production
