Nuclear has long been an important part of the U.S. and international power generation mix and will likely play a critical role in a carbon-free energy future. The future is happening now with numerous recent examples demonstrating the role of nuclear for increasing resilience on a low carbon electricity grid and to fill diverse industrial energy demands.
