Created by Ian Oliver and Grahame Baird this feels like a spiritual third instalment in 3D Star strike series. Blast your way through convoys of enemy fighter ships and locate eight planetoids. Dock with the mothership to upgrade your weapons and receive mission briefings to progress through the levels. The 3D space battles are very cinematic and exhilarating, your Starfox cockpit feels immersive and the open world environment seems endless. A No Man's Sky for the Spectrum maybe?
Probably not but Starfox is an underrated gem.
