Sinclair User Issue 83's Megatape 12 gave us Blob the Cop, a cheeky RoboCop parody from Players Software's Andrew Severn
You play as Blob, a bio-logically operated being (get it?) tasked with clearing 18 stages.
It's a side-view action-platformer where you dodge obstacles, blast foes, and collect items from letter boxes using cryptic codes.
That health drain turns it into a tense timer-fest – 18 areas on one life? Brutal. Repetitive after a few runs.
Fun but only for a couple of level.
