Text to CAD is a dream for designers. Instead of dealing with complex controls in Fusion360 or coding in OpenSCAD, you can just write a prompt of what you're looking for.

Right now this is better than Point-E, but it has the capabilities of a lightweight version of TinkerCAD. Shown here are 2 of the shapes I was able to generate.
They are available as an .STL on my printable s page, printables.com/model/940480-text-to-cad-ai-experiments.
While not complex shapes, you can use these as a base for a design. It did interoperate standard and metric sizes well, which should help US designers. Overall it's an improvement on text-to-CAD AI generation, but it won't be making a rocket anytime soon.
