The heat in the shop has been a real butt kicker the last few weekends but we are pushing on. The floor is finally stripped back and cleaned up enough to start working on the few little fixes that are needed before we get back to working on making this car run and drive again.
But cleaning the floor pan is boring video.

So, this week I busted out a couple new budget tools that I got to help with various parts of the project, like getting all the stickers off the car. Let's just say I wasn't disappointed by how well the Bauer Surface Conditioning Tool worked and quickly I might add. It definitely leaves behind a surface that will need a good bit more work before it's ready for paint but I expected that.

The other new tool isn't anything too special, just the cordless 20v Orbital Sander by Bauer, and well, it worked as expected and was nice to have the freedom from the cord with the sander.

These definitely are 8hr a day 5 days a week tools, but for the hobbyist, they are definitely a great option considering the price of big-name tools.
