The capacitor is used in open loop in this system!!!

2 things I think on after this experiments:
1) The capacitor is getting discharged even tough it´s an open loop system. If it was only natural discharge, which is also present then the time to get continuous arcing after the source capacitor is charged would be the same on low and high switching frequency.
2) when voltage is at it´s highest just after the moment when the continuous arcing stops (moment A), the input from ambient causes more amount of discharges in the period it´s receiving then when voltage goes lower (moment B). At level A you hear a few repetitive discharges while at level B you only got one after each waiting period. Also waiting period is less in moment A then B.
This is how I think about it, I´m not a specialist and can draw the wrong conclusions, everybody needs to think for themselves.
