I'll show you how to get Shimmer in Terraria Skyblock! It's easy to find if you have enough blocks in your inventory.
So let's kill a bunch of slimes. And turn their slime into slime blocks.
We just need to go to the edge of the world. You can go left or right; the shimmer lake spawns randomly at the edge of the world.
But if you already have a compass, you'll notice that the island is not in the center of the world, and all you need to do is go in the opposite direction from where your island exists.
