We recently completed a successful Mission Duty Cycle (MDC) test for our integrated Stage 2 of #Terran1, and completed acceptance testing for all nine Aeon 1 engines for Stage 1 at our facilities at NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.

This Stage 2 full duration MDC test is a pinnacle milestone in stage development – and proves that all key stage subsystems (including the engine, structures, fluid systems, avionics and software) can operate in flight-like configuration.

Also, like its structure, all Relativity Aeon engines are entirely 3D printed, and use liquid oxygen (LOX) and liquid natural gas (LNG), which are not only the best for rocket propulsion, but also for reusability, and the easiest to eventually transition to methane on Mars! As one of the few LOX/LNG fueled rockets in the industry, Terran 1 is racing to be the first LOX/LNG rocket to fly.
