My first original song in a long while, "Tender Heartache" off my upcoming EP project.

I have been reducing my cover-work this year while working on a lot more originals, commission work, and hopefully other exciting things! The idea for my first original album is a mix of personal and inspired stories that tell of a person exploring the world and themselves, drawing in more eclectic sounds as the EP progresses. To kickstart my idea, I was lucky enough to meet the great people at Black Pit Media who were also eager creators. Despite our first time doing this kind of shoot, they did an incredible job with lighting ideas, playing with camera motions, and we were even hosted at Back-To-One Acting Studio nearby. The result was easily the highest quality footage I've gotten to edit with and it's hardly a minute and a half long song! I really hope to work with this crew again and do some real damage!

We went with an interlude track that would sit somewhere in the middle of my EP, branching progressive rock ambience, synthesizers, and modern guitarplay (and a hint of Indian music too). I plan to have heavy exciting riffs, use of sitar/tabla and unorthodox instruments, some vocals and some guests, and a lot of fun in store for the full release. It's a scary and personal process sharing original music, especially with no other games or media to fall back on.
