Description: This video is how I repaired a broken Clarostat dual pot or duel variable resistor. The pot was installed in a Tektronix PG502 250Mhz Signal Generator to control the voltage level. Unfortunately, the shaft for the outer control knob was broken in half, and the only thing holding it on was the inner control knob.
This video is on the Pot repair not the removal or installation before and after repairs.
The part number is Clarostat 311-1162-00 or Alt P/N: 381-CM39691. Dual 10K pot.
In the video I give the new shaft dimensions and how to install it after it’s built.
