On many knitted doilies and also lace shawls, a crochet bind-off is used to give a scalloped edge. This wee tutorial shows how to do it with either a crochet hook or knitting needles. The example uses a pattern of 3 stitches worked together and 5 chains repeated to the end, but each pattern will be slightly different and this method can be used for a variety of stitch numbers.
