Kids asking for pens and pencils used to interrupt my class every single day — until I changed one thing.

Instead of stopping class, getting annoyed, or refusing supplies, I just made it easy:
✔️ Bought a bulk box of cheap pens
✔️ Picked up the ones left on the floor
✔️ Kept them in a clear spot so students grab & go
✔️ Even Velcro’d a pen under a few desks for the super unprepared kids

Now class keeps moving, nobody’s stuck, and the lesson doesn’t get derailed over a pencil. Sometimes the simplest systems save the most sanity.
