Hi butterflies!!!
Here are my favorite little dudes. This was suppose to be last week's video, but I got lazy and slept in all Friday when I was suppose to finish editing it XD I also couldn't decide whether I wanted to do a voiceover or not. I decided not, because I didn't want to cry recording it :p so no voiceover!! I'm really happy with how this turned. It's about time Vane got a proper ref sheet. And I really like how they look with the stars added around the lineart. Ooh also fun fact the reason Teach's refs always say he's a worm is because it's true ;p Before drawing the fins they looks like worms XD

Lastly, this is a little blurb I'm going to start adding in the description of all the videos with my little dudes. I decided to do this because often times people get betta fish as throw away pets or they live in horrible conditions. I don't want anyone here to get a betta fish because they look cute when I draw them. They should be treated as any other pet.
I call my little dudes water dogs, because that's what they are. You can teach them tricks like a dog. They will come up and greet you like a dog. They are great companions and they should be treated as such. Make sure you do your research and think hard about whether you truly want to make that commitment. A betta should be kept in a tank no smaller than 2.5 gallons, but it is better for them to have an even bigger tank. Plus the smaller the tank the more often you need to clean it. Also, not all betta fish are exactly the same, just like with any pet or person. You aren't guaranteed a Teach or Vane just because you get one. However, if you treat your little friend right I have no doubt you'll have a great friend too. Also don't put multiple male betta fish together, they are solitary fish. While, they will be your friend they will not be each others. I just wanted to add that here, so there is no misunderstanding. While, I do draw Teach and Vane together that is because I like to think my sons hang out together in the afterlife, ruling the seven seas. But I had them at separate times, they never met.
