Hi butterflies!!!
Edit 12/28/20: I will no longer be finishing this as I lost all data on my computer, so the file is now gone. I had almost all the sketched parts lined, but now I have none of it.
Happy Birthday Mom!!
So a bit ago I said I was working on two amvs and here's the non-warriors one I was talking about--still also doing the warriors one once I finish this, you can see the designs I made for it of Brightheart and Swiftpaw on my Instagram^^ So yea this is a gift I started making for my mom probably a little over two months ago. I didn't manage to finish it in time, so this is just a WIP.
My mom has had a really rough year, Covid aside, so I wanted to make her something for her birthday to make her feel better. I started looking for songs and this one seemed to fit really well. I didn't title it fix you, cuz I didn't feel that was quite right so instead I thought lights was a fitting title. Like I said I originally started making this to make her feel better, but after hearing this song I had another idea to add to it. I wanted to show her my thoughts and feelings on what was going on, so the beginning is a bit of a vent I guess. And this song fit really well with this idea^^ The second half then is a compilation of some of the things my mom has done for my siblings and I as we've grown up, with the end saying we'll always be there for her as she has for us.
I'm not going to go too indepth, but a little background info on what this is about. My parents about 3 yearsish ago probably now started talking about getting a divorce. They stayed in the same house for me and my siblings. Back then at first I had mixed feelings on it, I wanted both my parents to be happy even if it wasn't together, but I hated the way it happened. I came to terms with it and the divorce was never really my issue, just they way it came about and all the fighting with it. Then early this year my dad really began pushing my mom for the divorce and she wasn't ok. Like I said I just wanted them to be happy and I still loved my dad. I made him a video a couple months ago for his birthday because of that. And this led to a couple of fights with my mom, as is shown in the video. So I wanted to make this to show that and show her that I also will still always be there for her as she has been for my siblings and I. Yea I won't go anymore into detail on it, as it is not my place to say but I wanted to give my thoughts. (Also I'm all good just in case don't want you guys worrying^^)
So that's all I hope you understand mom and it makes you happy. Sorry I wasn't able to finish it in time, but I do still plan to finish it hopefully soon XD
