It seems that Mitt Romney and his campaign team have forgotten one of the most basic rules of politics and the media:

Nothing can be as bad as the shit that people can think up when you leave them to speculate.

Despite calls from his own party and an unrelenting pounding by the opposition Mitt Romney still refuses to release any further tax returns other than the single year of returns he has provided so far.

He has stated that he is not comfortable releasing any further details and his wife has gone on record in a recent TV interview saying that there isn't anything more that people need to know.

That's like when a police officer manning the police barricades at a dramatic shootout or some god awful disaster says to onlookers "there's nothing to see here"

It's not like Mitt Romney is campaigning for an important job like the President of the United States or something, oh hang on a minute he is!

So far Mitt cannot seem to make up his mind exactly when he left Bain Capital and signed federal documents that claimed he had nothing to do with the company while at the same time filing other federal documents claiming that he owned 100% of the company and was its CEO.

He personally owned shares in a company that was outsourcing jobs to china and as Governor he championed and signed into law a healthcare plan that is almost a carbon copy of the one President Obama passed that he now claims needs to be repealed for being un-American

In the past he has been photographed at Planned Parenthood fundraisers and his wife even made a donation.

His father was born in Mexico -- technically all but making him a Mexican -- because his family fled their to escape prosecution because as Mormons they practiced polygamy which is an apparently acceptable redefinition of marriage that absolutely does not involve a marriage between one man and one woman

In addition he calls his opponent un-American while he is stashing his fortune overseas in foreign banks and tax havens and none profit trusts to avoid paying tax, all the while donating a sizable multi-million dollar fortune every year to the Mormon church -- which no doubt gets written off against tax and so effectively acts as state funding of a religious organisation which is about as unconstitutional as it gets.

And these are just the things we know he has done.

What is he hiding by not releasing tax return information for additional years?

John McCain knows because he saw them when he vetted Romney as his running mate and he eventually picked Sarah Palin

That's right, a governor in the middle of a corruption scandal who couldn't make her mind up whether she was for or against building a bridge in her home town who's idea of foreign policy experience was being able to see places from her house was a better pick for vice president than Romney!
So whatever is in those tax returns MUST be really bad!

I hope Mitt is wearing his magic underpants because he is going to need them because Mitt seems to be forgetting the golden rule of the internet

Pics or it didn't happen!

It's just a matter of time before someone at the IRS sends an anonymous email with a very big attachment to Julian Assange and Romney's tax returns go viral.

So before that happens feel free to speculate upon what horrors Mitt is trying to keep secret.

The more outrageous the better because the truth is often more unbelievable than fiction.

Of course if this did bring an end to his campaign and he decided to drop out or he was ousted by his party, the delegates at the Republican National Convention would be left with the second place man and the only other candidate who actually qualifies as a potential nominee in that he won five or more of the primaries and that man ISN'T Ron Paul...

Its RICK SANTORUM.

It wouldn't be an election in November, it would be a crucifixion!
