Like the other water level in 2-2, there are very few points to get. This TAS gets everything except the first red coin and makes it to the 296 cycle. As a faster cycle cant be reached without sacrificing more than 500 points and the first red coin is too far out of the way to otherwise make this cycle, this score is almost certainly maxed out.

This castle is very simple as there is very little to collect, three of the red coins are not worth the points, and the level is mostly empty. In order to score better than the non-TAS record, I had to make everything as tight as possible, and used a slightly faster start for the first red coin. With all of this, I finished with 2 frames to spare before the timer would reach the next Mario second. This has to be maxed out.

Like most castle levels, the strategy here is to simply get all points and finish as fast as possible. After tightening everything up, I finished at 249 with 10 more frames needed to cut to save the next Mario second. I dont think its possible, but if it is, it is definitely the maximum.

This game is simple and has no real strategies, just rotate as fast as you can without destroying your hand or controller. However, I thought it would be interesting to show various extremes with players rotating as fast as possible. They are as follows:
Game 1) DK rotates, others do nothing.
Game 2) DK rotates, one teammate rotates.
Game 3) DK rotates, two teammates rotate.
Game 4) Everyone rotates.
Game 5) DK does nothing, one teammate rotates.
As you can see from these games, it doesnt matter by how significantly youre outperforming your opponents as you still pull the rope at the same speed. The lone player also has triple strength, so its most accurate to say that the team that has the highest average rotations is who pulls the rope.
However, when everyone is rotating as fast as possible, there still seems to be some back and forth and not in any sort of pattern, suggesting that there may be a random factor. My guess is that when both teams have the same average rotation speed that a random team is given a pull. This might be why it still often ends in a draw when all four players are fast in real games despite looking close to a win in either direction.
