Well, it isn’t perfect, but I’ve been working on this piece for ages. Maybe I’ll play it again in the future? Who knows?
Anyways, this piece is a tarantella, a type of folk genre that originated from Southern Italy. I like this piece because of its energy and jumpiness. This was definitely fun to play, despite its high difficulty in the left hand, as I had to constantly jump octaves.
Despite the Italian hand signs and the sort of meme it has become, this piece is genuinely enjoyable, and I hope you enjoyed my cover of it!
P.S: Boy, am I glad to have my neck back. I swear, I was practically growing a mullet.
