Unlike most of the pieces I've posted here, this is actually something I composed specifically for my high school orchestra to perform; the audio comes from a recording of the performance in May. (Apologies if the audio quality isn't the best, this was recorded on an iPhone in the audience)
Though this experimental piece does not tell a story, I do have a story to tell about it. It all started as a not-so-simple idea that popped in my head one day when eating lunch at school. I quickly realized that the main motif had an unstable feel to it, as it rapidly alternated between measures of six beats and five beats. As a result, I began to write this piece, "Five, Six..." as a test to what I could do with such a weird idea.
This is a little different from what I normally put on my channel, but I hope you enjoy nonetheless. :)

My dad, for recording the audio :)
