In the void between Christmas and New Year’s Day, a sweaty pianist rises from the deep and takes the piano back from the cat, with a new and improved version of their piece, Belligerent Bell Carol.
Chances are, this marks the start of a new tradition of playing a newer version of this piece every year. (Hopefully next year I’ll remember not to post late; someone remind me if necessary)
Belligerent Bell Carol is quite an important piece to me. This was the first piece I played when I got this grand piano, and I was going through some problems at that time. I turned my emotion and anger into musicality, pounding the low notes like it would be my last time ever playing piano.
I’m glad to have this be my last video of the decade. And I’m glad that you took the time to click on this video and watch.
