Tango Clear is a fruit-flavoured, artificially sweetened, carbonated drink that comes in two flavors - apple and watermelon, or lemon and kiwi - and is targeted at twentysomething females.

Britvic is invested £7m in the launch, spearheaded by a television commercial set in a suburban office. A young woman takes a sip of the drink and is immediately deluged by water, prompting a knock at the door from her boss. "Sandra, we need to talk," he says, nervously, gesturing at an Inuit, a fireman and two Hawaiians standing by her desk. "Oh them," she says. "Don't worry. They're not really here. They're just a metaphor. You know, a visual representation of the bubbly fruit refreshment of Tango Clear."

While the boss looks baffled, a passing female colleague comments casually, "Hi Sandra, nice metaphor." The film then cuts to a penguin slapping Sandra's leg with a wet fish before Penelope Keith delivers the voiceover: "It's clear when you've been Tango'd."
