Here's the video we submitted for the ASPCA's Help a Horse Day campaign, to educate the public about the issue of unwanted horses. Swingin' D is a 501C3 that rescues horses from the slaughter pipeline, nurses them back to health, and adopts them to responsible owners. We advocate for responsible horse ownership, and work with law enforcement to expose abusive rescuers.
We've worked some miracles with the 26+ horses and mules we've saved. Our greatest challenge is, by far, funding. If you can find it in your heart to donate, we'll be happy to send you a receipt for your taxes.
