Watching this magnificent brig leave Belfast Harbour, passing some of our coastal towns before heading out into the Irish Sea. Then a visit to the Sails and Songs festival in Portaferry where a very appropriate recording was made with the shantymen Hooks & Crookes of Waterford. The old ways of the sea are still alive and well on these islands, and thank you to all those folk who upkeep our traditions with their dedication and high standards.
