Seeing all of these Xillia 2 videos inspired me enough to get back into the room for a bit. Some may know that from a solo perspective, I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Xillia 2, and that stems from the irrelevancy of the bosses due to Power Charge 2 and 3. Still fun to watch, but playing it myself, I do not find to be too entertaining for most bosses. That's why in my initial X2 Leia run I decided to not use PC 2/3 at all... which didn't matter too much because many bosses still got Power Combo'd. Still, fighting the ones who had no weaknesses Leia could exploit meant fighting the old Xillia 1 way. It was a nice balance of bosses where I could play some bosses the X1 way, and some bosses the X2 way.
However, for this iteration of the run, I'll be doing a specific modification on the bosses; that is to remove any weaknesses or resistances they have. Without PC 2, removing weaknesses prevents any Power Combos from happening, barring some mid-battle exceptions, e.g. Chronos/Odin/Aska/Maxwell/etc.. I remove resistances because, unlike the original Xillia, enemies in X2 cannot stagger against elements they resist. No other changes to the bosses will be made. Just for clarity, I don't use a code; I simply change their weakness multiplier for all damage types to 1(if its higher than 1, it turns into a weakness; if its less than 1, it turns into resistance). BIG THANKS to @Sora3100 for the extremely well-made cheat table =03.
I'll keep most fights short, aiming for a 1m30s ~ 2m duration(for my sanity). I'll also use weapons carried over in conjunction with food items to hit these durations.
I'll be using my old ps3 saves for these runs, and those stats have not been altered(except for Illusionary Darkness bosses), but if its necessary, I will mention it in the "mods used" section, even if its possible at endgame(since you can grind herbs in this game). I don't know how far I can take this, or how interesting it'll be. Expect A LOT of Eagle's Rage spamming, lol. I'll only be doing main story and character chapter bosses Leia has natural access to; if you want to see a solo similar to this one that will encompass all main story bosses with No Power Charge 2/3 as Leia, check out

Far as Rowen goes, he does the typical Overlimit in air as many no-aerial counter bosses do and after he loses the OVL its a free-for-all when hes in the air. Breaking his Iron Stance wasn't too difficult with Eagle's Rage, and my 15 normal/blue herbs made in a previous playthrough. Most deaths came from getting Knife's Revenge while I was in the air, and Splash. I can't see the actual knife when he Knife Revenges, but I need only to time a sidestep when he recovers(i.e. does the flip) to dodge it. You could also ER from the ground to dodge the knife and attack at the same time, since the beginning frames of ER have invulnerability, though I prefer the sidestep. Severed Fate can be a bit tricky if you're not paying attention; fortunately Eagle's Rage can keep Leia in one place in the air before moving, making it miss by the time she hits the ground. Him running into the corner also contributed to a fair number of losses; I try to get him away from it if the flow of the fight allowed me to, but its really at his whim. I would have preferred to be a bit weaker, but I died a few times to Tidal Wave, which you can't dodge or avoid, so I had to deal a certain amount of damage to make sure I could kill him before he does it. Nonetheless, this was a nice improvement of my initial run of this boss =03.

Next part of boss runs. I maxed out my STR and DEX, as shown. Stats Ill be working with until the end of the run(final battle the sole exception). I did learn TP Gain 2 somewhere along the line, but I only received a SP and TP bonus to get it(loss a battle with Gilland and Celsius due to TP consumption).
In any event, things start off well; strategies for Gilland and Celsius and beyond are the same as the original run. Not gonna lie; did horrendous on the Ivar battle =0(. Getting one shotted by the wyvern dashing across the sky, getting sucked into his tail hurricane, and/or Ivar easily comboing me to death or insta-guard breaking me with Phantom Surge put me on the defensive. I couldnt do any better. Tales of Xillia - What Humans are Capable Of [Leia solo]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/GblBt3gnV_o/mqdefault.jpg)

-Original cast levels like normal(except Regal)
-magic outside of non-Marta magic artes cast times have been reduced by ~60%
Not a difficult boss. He has a move that increases your attack and lowers defense, which is actually beneficial for me. None of his phys artes are too dangerous except Moulin Rouge, which also inflicts arteseal. For his magic, Turbulence deals lot of damage (about 1800 HP), and Cyclone can guard break(she cant outrun it), but deals less damage. He has Overlimit, so I can only hope he wont cast Cyclone too much during it, since I cant stop him from casting(loss a few times due to this).
