Can you take a break from Christianity when prayer, moral obligations, studying the faith, and going to Mass begin to feel overwhelming?
The question assumes that religion is one more optional commitment competing for our limited time. But if Christianity is true, our relationship with God is not merely another item on the schedule—it is the source of the grace, order, and spiritual health we need to manage everything else.
In this video, I explain why the worst time to withdraw from God may be precisely when life feels most chaotic. I also propose a simple challenge: go to confession, attend Mass, and pray the Rosary every day for two weeks. Christianity should not be dismissed as ineffective when it has merely been found difficult and left untried.
