The core doctrines of fascism — actual idealism, the supremacy of the Nation State, rejection of natural law, and the subordination of all spiritual reality to collective human will — are metaphysically and morally incompatible with Christianity. Its founding thinkers were secularists who explicitly rejected core Christian doctrines, often attempting to replace Christianity with state-centered substitutes. Any perceived similarity between fascism and Christianity is therefore superficial and incidental, not foundational or causal.
