In today's Church, "charity" is often mistaken for mere affability and tolerance, but history tells a different story. The great saints, doctors, and theologians of the past spoke the truth with boldness—even harshly—when necessary. From St. Cyril of Alexandria to Pius X, the Church never shied away from denouncing error. So why do we now equate charity with softness and dialogue, even in the face of blatant falsehoods? In this video, I explore the shift in rhetoric, the trauma that shaped it, and why the Church must rediscover its voice in an age of relentless confusion.
