Two well known projects, Tor and Tails OS, are merging to better collaborate on protecting users from surveillance and censorship.

Tails initiated the merger to cope with growth and reduce stress from operational expansion.The merger allows Tails to focus on improving its OS while benefiting from Tor's larger structure.
