The Tahoe Rim Trail is one of those trails that have been on my backpacking bucket list for years. 174 miles in the mountains circling Lake Tahoe. We started our hike in Nevada and walked through California before returning to Nevada. Countless mountain views of Lake Tahoe and other mountain lakes mixed with Desolation Wilderness Area, wildlife, and the fun of hiking it with 3 friends.
