Fall in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) Wilderness is something everyone should experience. Autumn colors, less overgrowth, drier trail, less bugs, and easier sunset for a campfire are the reasons I really like this hike this time of year. My buddy Chuck and I tackle a 24 mile route over a couple of days. We traveled around Snowbank Lake, Disappointment Lake an others on the Kekekabic Trail, North Country Trail, and the Snowbank Trail. While beautiful, hikers should not underestimate the difficulty of this trail. If you like Northwoods, lakes, fall colors, campfires, beavers, guys being stupid, and pancakes, this video is for you.
