When I thrifted this colorful canvas tablecloth, I knew I wanted to make a beach bag and then I remembered that I had this white pom pom trim in my stash and it was a match :-)
I cut the sides so the stripes were horizontal to play with the stripes and added the pom poms along the pocket and down the sides.
To be honest, I'm going to have to push myself to actually bring this one to the beach! It's white and I'd hate to get it dirty but alas, what kindof life is that? lol
