This video will discuss some of the general implications of constructing the Synapse wing and links to two possible methods for making the airfoil. Either method will result in a nearly identical final wing, with slight preference for Method B is a collapsible wing is desired.

This wing construction uses standard Experimental Airlines techniques. If you are not familiar you may wish to look at other videos on this channel before proceeding.

The "build first then cut" method is good for established builders of the Armin Wing and requires a bit more finesse to install the spar.

The "base cut first then build" method is a more conservative, deliberate, step-by-step way to get the final outcome. It requires no special tools or expertise.

There are admittedly some design omissions in this airplane, namely wing taper, washout, and reflex. It also has a flat bottom airfoil. I have a lot of experience in scale weight-shfit control flying wings and regret that these features are not easily built into the Synapse. In the interest of keeping it simple for as many builders as possible I have made the design very basic, and in fact it still seems to fly quite well.

Be advised that slow flight and high angle-of-attack flight risks stalling this plane more easily than a straight-wing plane.
