"The forest of Nibel will live once again!" -Sein, aka the little spirit thing that zaps stuff when you press X
...and just like the (incredibly beautiful) forest of Nibel at the end of Ori and the Blind Forest, developed by Moon Studios, I have risen from the dead! Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but since it's been over 3 months since I uploaded a song, me being dead is a totally reasonable conclusion to draw on the internet apparently.
Now let's talk about the song itself! As you can hear, a real singer, Reshira, helped me breathe new life into this amazing soundtrack originally composed by Gareth Coker. The massive improvements in quality can be felt whereever you can hear her voice, but it's the Restoring the Light, Facing the Dark-based part that got the biggest quality boost from her participation! This remix, which is the single longest song I have ever made by the way, would have not been possible without the help of some other people.
As with last year's summer project, Purple1222119 transcribed some parts for me to work with, which allowed me to focus more on the other steps of creating a hopefully good song. And since I'm hilariously bad at writing down the notes in a piece by ear, his help probably saved me literal months. Who knows, it might've been released in October if it wasn't for him?
