Hey look, I can do more than *just* orchestral stuff! Not that I've done symphonic metal before, it was definitely an interesting challenge to tackle!
I haven't even played any of the Golden Sun games (even though they've been on my list for a while), this amazing battle tune by composer Motoi Sakuraba of Dark Souls fame just appeared in my mix one day after accidentially leaving it on autoplay. The infamous YouTube algorithm actually did its job fairly well, for once. However, I was SHOCKED to find out that almost nobody ever covered this song, so I decided to give it a shot myself, and I'd say it turned out pretty decent.
Normally I'd write something about the game the song is from in this paragraph, but since I just kinda stumbled upon it randomly, there isn't really a lot I can say about it other than that its music is really good and that the battles look really flashy and way ahead of their time. I didn't even know the GBA and DS could handle such fancy particle systems!
Do you like my arrangement of this track? Is there anything you don't like about it? Are there any other songs from the Golden Sun soundtracks that I just *have* to remix in your opinion? Please tell me in the comments, I read every single one of them! (and always get a bit disappointed when I get a comment notification and it's just one of those Flixzone bots)
