(I added this to the Battles that Changed History Playlist because I use it in that class). More battles should appear within the next month. For the 9th grade Excel class, we are studying the Medieval Era and are moving on to the Renaissance. At the same time, they will be reading and watching Romeo and Juliet. I thought it important to understand the difference between weaponry of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Swords being the most fun and less cumbersome than a trebuchet, made the choice easy. I am not a swordsman so pay no attention to style or technique. There is also a great deal of argument over exactly how and when weapons were used and which came from where...so, I leave that to experts. Enjoy.
