This video demonstrates a native FORTH implementation for the Swissmicros DM41X hardware. I’ve ported and enhanced a C implementation of FORTH and used the same keyboard layout as much as possible so an overlay is not required.
Enhancements include graphics, sound, file loading, keyboard shortcuts and assignment which are demonstrated.
To exit DM-FORTH so you can swap back to DM41 use the BYE command.
I'll setup a github repository and list it here once I tidy up the code a bit :-)
Please ensure your DM41X state is saved to flash and that the flash filesystem is backed up to a PC before using so you can restore if necessary.
