The Casio MG-880 calculator was released in Japan in 1980 and included a basic calculator, melody and game capability (Invaders).

This video demonstrates the music melody capability by playing the Star Wars theme. The keys dot and 0 through 9 map to the notes A through G and A through D the next octave up.
