'Hunt the Wumpus' is a text based adventure game developed by Gregory Yob in 1973 and written in BASIC.

The original version has been modified to run on the Casio VX-4 pocket computer and demonstrated.

Minimal changes were required to the original version (excluding adapting instructions for smaller screen). The modified program will probably work on most Casio BASIC pocket computers.

The VX-4 requires additional memory with an RP-8 or RP-33 to load the original program. Removal of the instructions and comments may reduce the size enough to support the default memory configuration.
