That's right! It's SWEEP ARPEGGIOS for BASS!!! I'm hoping that a lot of you guys are pumped about this because there's a lot more we can go into to get this under your fingers. Guitar players beware! Us bassists are coming for you... :)
Note - my technique for playing 'sweeps' wouldn't traditionally be considering sweeping in the ascending direction. There are bass players who do more by-the-book sweeping and it sounds great, but I've always found doing multiple plucks on the way up works fine for my needs.
I encourage you to try multiple techniques and pick what you like! You probably won't need sweep arpeggios on your next bar gig anyway so there's plenty of time to experiment. :)
