John Homenuk and I went to North Central Oklahoma Thursday to check out a storm that went into BEAST mode. Beautiful storm shapes ensued. Large hail. Vivid #lightning and even a #SPRITE! Yes I actually managed to capture one on this effort! (Sprites are also known as Transient Luminous Events)
#Stormchasing isn't just about catching tornadoes. Sometimes forecasting yourself into the best possible scenario for tornado weather can yield other amazing sights. Extreme lightning, mothership UFO shaped supercell thunderstorms and unique moments can make a tornado 'bust' a totally mesmerizing experience.
