And here's another game that most of you probably won't recognize! If you do then I'd love to see it in the comments because I think that's awesome! Super Widget was another more obscure game from my childhood and it's a SNES game. It's another platformer starring this alien creature called Widget who is in training to become a world watcher (basically a guardian of worlds and planets and there's even a TV show about it that I have seen) and it's honestly one of the hardest games I can think of from my childhood haha. I've played a lot of hard games growing up to be fair but this one is certainly up there and I vividly remember beating it finally as a kid and how happy I was! The name of the game here is all about platforming goodness and finding power ups that lets Widget transform into different forms like birds, squids or even dragons! I honestly think this is a hidden gem on the system with some amazing music, graphics and gameplay so check it out if you're curious! I played the Map theme for this video and it plays every time that you select the next level, which are different planets in the galaxy, and I think it's one of the most underrated Map themes I can think of honestly! I love how much excitement there is to the track and how heroic it sounds and it really feels like you're on a galactic adventure, I love it! Anyway, if you like what you're hearing, I highly recommend you checking out the soundtrack because it's filled with great stuff and I'm glad I got to play something from this nostalgic childhood game of mine!
