My first 42. Been back on this route for about a month already but haven't been able to commit to it as much as possible due to other commitments and coming down with a nasty cold/flu after New Years. Previously I had a 43:07 a few weeks back and prior to that from a few years ago a 43:13. Both were not uploaded.
This is the first run of KPDR from myself that I can say felt half decent. 42 is quite the challenge and feels somewhere in the ballpark of trying to get a 41:2x or thereabouts in PRKD. The skill ceiling is arguably higher in this too, at least in terms of movement and high speed tech. The tradeoff perhaps is that PRKD specializes in boss fight skill with a slightly lower emphasis on movement skill. Both qualities are desirable of course. I would like to try and get this to 42:4x before deciding what to do next.

This surpassed where I thought this could end up at and then some. Super happy with this run. All the new and improved bellslides are in there, 3 golds, no red splits. The run even finished with a time better than what the sum of best was at the start. Only a 3x wouldve been on the table if I didnt make some minor mistakes in DM and Lair, and my sob only became 4535 afterward. This was a great way to end my time with Turok 2 Remastered!")
