For this speedrun I used patch 1.4 which makes certain speed tech from earlier patches not possible. There is a later patch (1.5) that allows you to skip cutscenes so this particular run is suboptimal in terms of the time but it was a strong run for 2017.
[note] My game suffered a bad pause in the Hive at 32:29. I don't know what caused it but i've had similar things happen before with this game. I was prepared to stop recording if it didn't manage to recover. Later on at around 36:45 the video suffers a similar pause but this was only evident during playback because I was still playing that part during the run.

This surpassed where I thought this could end up at and then some. Super happy with this run. All the new and improved bellslides are in there, 3 golds, no red splits. The run even finished with a time better than what the sum of best was at the start. Only a 3x wouldve been on the table if I didnt make some minor mistakes in DM and Lair, and my sob only became 4535 afterward. This was a great way to end my time with Turok 2 Remastered!")
