This is one of the levels in a project I'm working on called Super Mario TKO using Lunar Magic (which is a Super Mario World level editor).
This is a joint effort level between me and my co-author. I did the underground areas while he did the above ground areas. We're still considering changing the foreground for the above ground parts, and have a new background in mind. It also obviously needs music.
This is the first actually difficult level in SMTKO. It's a long level and is designed to be somewhat challenging. All monument level in SMTKO will be challenging and filled with puzzles. This level has a lot of hidden secrets I don't visit or can't get to.
