The September 29, 2018 blind kaizo race was brought to you by Anthony! Originally cleared on March 27, 2019. Did I forget to mention I don't enjoy precision? Urgh.
The level took 2 hrs over the course of 2 days to clear, taking 1 hr to reach the CP the first time, and dying at the muncher before it. Biggest source of headache was after the keydoor. It's those damn drybones again. You would think that after all these years I should just know the strat is to not wait, but it's also a precision level making me feel like I should be taking the proper time to setup the correct approach and jumps. Well it just resulted in bones being thrown in my face. When I finally did the "just shut up and go" strat, it did lineup a lot better.
Second section was so much easier. Located the secret keydoor again but no clue on the key. I thought maybe it was after the noteblock jump, the left side ceiling semisolid looked like maybe you could get up there but didn't really see a safe way back down. Didn't spend too long trying to find it, I wanted out. Yoshi lives another day.
