Starting with Banzai Bill Cliff Climb, I got into the habit of recording my Ninji Speedrun attempts. I don't really have the patience for speedrunning so I'm pretty terrible at it, but a lot of the Ninji Speedruns have been short and fun enough that I've enjoyed trying my best at them.

It does baffle me how some people get such insane times on the courses. I can't even fathom what strats would get you a sub-30 on this course.

This course actually taught me something. Even though the game visually pauses during the pipe transitions, some things still occur in the background, such as the shell hitting the coin block, resulting in potentially having 1-2 more coins than you would expect as you're coming out the other end.

I may or may not upload previous and future Ninji Speedrun courses.

Now for some impotent ranting. For some reason my capture device and/or its software has developed this issue where none of the recordings show any video when opened on Vegas Pro, forcing me to run it through some other software first. It's really annoying because the re-conversion takes almost as long as the video file's length, so long recordings are going to take forever.
