This Super Mario All-Stars commercial from 1993 is such a fun piece of SNES marketing history. Nintendo bundled four classic Mario games onto one cartridge, Super Mario Bros, The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros 2, and Super Mario Bros 3, all rebuilt with 16 bit graphics and a proper save feature. What made this release extra special is it was actually the first time The Lost Levels ever made it to the West, since Nintendo had held it back for years thinking it was too hard for American audiences. This particular ad was pushing a mail in offer where buying a Super NES system got you the game for just 3 dollars and 50 cents in postage, as long as you got your order in before May 31 1994. The whole thing paid off in a massive way too, since All Stars ended up selling over 10.5 million copies worldwide and became one of the best selling Mario games ever made.
