Review – I previously played Macbat, made by the same developer that is trying to emulate N64 platformers. I wasn’t too impressed with the former but I am pleasantly surprised at this game. As a huge N64 platformer fan, this game hits a lot of the right buttons for me. The controls are excellent and I’m really surprised that something so simple hasn’t been done before. Just 2 moves – 1. Hold jump to glide. 2- attack but if you hit a wall, you get stuck and can jump again. This makes platforming so intuitive.
The world is split between a few very short levels and is meant to be done in about an hour. If you miss a secret there isn’t much help in how to get them and if you exit the level and re-enter, the level resets and doesn’t give you an idea of which collectables you have already collected.
There about 3 enemies in the whole game so I don’t know why they bothered with combat or having health.
The music really stands out with reminiscence of Donkey Kong Country and even Zelda.
Although there is hardly anything to this game, I found it a real joy to play and would recommend it to anyone for a couple of hours of easy, fun, game time.

Difficulty – 2/10
