An original track written using high quality versions of Kirby samples, primarily Kirby's Dream Land 3. Some samples were not available and thus approximated instead.

Funny story, this is actually one of the first tracks I wrote that kicked off this original writing stint! I started it about a year ago with a lot of inspiration from Sparkle by Tatsuro Yamashita. I really liked the chord work in that track and thought it would fit KDL3's Ripple Field 2 aesthetic. With that, I also wanted to make a pseudo-Ripple Field 1 track.
This track uses a lot of call and response since it works well with KDL3's 5-channel "limit". This track is technically where I initially implemented the idea for further implementation on Coral Cove! I will also admit that the A melody is fairly Guar Plains inspired. I tweaked the melody enough to be unique (insert "can i copy ur homework" meme) and there's the track!
The main reason the track took a year to make was the B section. I could never find a melody and chords I liked to fit in that spot, plus I ended up moving over to Super Metroid style tracks. Finally came up with something though! Hope you enjoy.

Aaaaand were back to our normal schedule! I had a nice weekend to help catch up on things (namely, play BotW lol). I hope last weekend was just as nice for you all as it was for me!
Usually, when I do covers, I pick songs that I like. The songs could be from games Ive played over the years, or new songs Ive heard, but Ive had some kind of exposure to each song Ive covered in the past. This is the first time Ive covered something I have no connection with. As such, I struggled coming up with an idea for this one, especially in the 10 day limit I was given for PRC. I messed around with slowing the song down and adding a swing to it, which evolved into this reggae sounding mix. Definitely a stretch of my creative muscles here, as this is the first time Ive done this genre!")
